NEW MEXICO-Taste the Tradition® and NEWMEXICO-Grown with Tradition® website

Did you know New Mexico is one of the top 10 states in the country for milk and cheese production?  That's thanks to nearly 150 farmily-owned dairies that keep their cows comfortable and well-fed.  Together, all of the dairy cows in New Mexico produce nearly 1 BILLION gallons of milk a year.  Where does all the milk go?  In addition to cheese, New Mexico milk gets made into yogurt, protein drinks, ice cream and many other dairy products that you and your family enjoy.  New Mexico   is also the proud home of dairies making outstanding goat cheese.  So next time you're in the dairy section at your local grocery store, look for products packaged in New Mexico--that way you can "Taste the Tradition"!
